Job summary

Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) in Montreal seeks nurses for the Centre for Innovative Medicine (CIM) to support critical care and infusion trial activities, including after-hours coverage. This temporary on-call role reports to CIM management.

Ideal candidates hold a DEC, 2–5 years of experience, and are in good standing with the OIIQ. Bilingual French-English communication is required to interact with patients, researchers, and international students.

Qualifications

• DEC required; nursing education aligned with CIM needs.
• 2–5 years nursing experience, preferably in critical care/infusion.
• Bilingual in French and English required due to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient health evaluations and care planning.
• Support CIM nursing staff during trials, including after-hours activities.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with patients and families.
