Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Canada (New Brunswick) is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our resident-centered team. In this casual role, you’ll provide hands-on support for daily living activities, follow individualized care plans, and help create a safe, welcoming environment.

You’ll work closely with families and care leaders, engage residents in meaningful activities, and support dining services while upholding dignity and independence for seniors, including Memory Care residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes to care plans.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence for residents.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• Provide enriching experiences in Memory Care for residents with memory loss.

Employment Type: Casual

This position is classified as a casual role. Casual employees work on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed hours and are not considered permanent employees. Employment is not guaranteed for any specific duration and may be ended at any time in accordance with applicable employment standards.
