**Job Description:**
Apex Systems is seeking an OMS Product Manager with Capital Markets exposure, strong product management experience, knowledge of Canadian equity market microstructure and regulatory requirements, and experience working with OMS and EMS platforms for fixed income, derivatives, and equities. The role involves working at a top 5 Financial Institution in Toronto, with a 5-month contract and potential extension. The position requires onsite presence 2-3 days/week.

**Responsibilities include:**

• Leading product ideation and developing business cases.
• Analyzing data to provide insights and recommendations.
• Guiding technology integration and stakeholder discussions.
• Defining specifications and maintaining the product roadmap.
• Managing the backlog and project plans.
• Ensuring product quality through testing and review.
• Focusing on UX and design decisions.
• Monitoring the competitive landscape.
• Aligning product vision with strategic goals.
• Driving platform adoption and training.
• Communicating updates to internal teams and clients.

**Key Qualifications:**

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years in the financial industry with experience in product management, project management, or business analysis.
• Expertise in Canadian equity microstructure and regulatory requirements; experience in other regions and asset classes is a plus.
• Familiarity with sell-side OMS and EMS platforms and the FIX protocol.
• Collaborative, agile mindset; experience with 'Capital A' Agile is a plus.
