What you'll do...

1. Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve “On Time” delivery to customers.
2. Pack orders with attention to detail, including distinguishing between similar named products, exact quantities, and correct product codes.
3. Ensure that products picked are of the highest quality, i.e., no damaged products, selection of the freshest products, etc.
4. Correctly document and label all orders through interpretation and understanding of documentation, including pick slips, packaging details, shipping labels, etc.
5. Optimize tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards.
6. Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and support, including resolving issues.
7. Ensure strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards, including maintaining a clean work area, immediate cleanup of spills, and ensuring all totes are clean before packing. Operate material handling equipment safely, completing all safety pre-inspection checks before use. Exhibit behaviors that support the organization’s mission and core values.
8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to operational procedures, productivity standards, safety, working conditions, and quality standards. Demonstrate flexibility in completing and adjusting work assignments based on customer requests and daily delivery schedules.
