What you'll do

1. Efficiently picks and assembles orders from various temperature zones with care and quality to ensure “On Time” delivery.
2. Packs orders with attention to detail, including distinguishing between similar products, correct quantities, and product codes.
3. Ensures products are of the highest quality, with no damage and the freshest selection.
4. Documents and labels all orders accurately by interpreting documentation such as pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels.
5. Optimizes tote filling by packing orders efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
6. Balances fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and support, resolving issues when necessary.
7. Maintains strict safety and food hygiene standards, including cleaning work areas, handling spills promptly, and ensuring totes are debris-free. Operates material handling equipment safely and completes pre-use safety checks. Exhibits behaviors aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
8. Participates in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting operational, safety, and quality improvements. Demonstrates flexibility in work assignments to meet customer requests and delivery schedules.

Compensation

The starting pay for this position is $17.55 per hour, with rates determined based on relevant experience.
