Overview

We seek a Marketing Specialist for the Strategic Studies & Market Analysis Division within the Crude Oil Sales & Marketing Department (COSMD).

This division provides market analysis, intelligence, data analytics, strategic studies, and project management within crude oil sales and marketing.

Your main role is to oversee marketing activities, lead research initiatives, and support marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expertise in crude oil placement strategy and market analysis.
  • Develop strategies addressing short- and long-term market needs and challenges.
  • Mentor and train team members on crude oil market concepts.
  • Conduct complex studies impacting company operations.
  • Monitor market trends and forecast viability and evolution.
  • Coordinate special studies and advise senior management.
  • Provide guidance on planning and analysis to senior personnel and executives.
  • Collaborate on low carbon initiatives, including analysis and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support commercialization of low carbon crude oil and products, focusing on offsetting and market mechanisms.
  • Present analyses and recommendations on petroleum market issues.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred.
  • Over 12 years of experience in oil & gas sustainability, ESG, and the carbon market.
  • Knowledge of carbon markets, environmental regulations, and climate policies.
  • Extensive understanding of global crude oil markets, pricing, and reporting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with refining, petrochemicals, and financial modeling is a plus.
