Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Alcohol Gaming Commission Ontario (AGCO) regulations.
  • Ensure proper security for all transfers of monies within the casino.
  • Assist patrons with inquiries, including providing information about the property and events, giving directions, and escorting them if necessary.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports clearly and precisely.
  • Patrol casino areas to establish a security presence and report unusual or suspicious activities.
  • Assist in coordinating and resolving emergencies.
  • Maintain proper key control.
  • Promote responsible gaming and alcohol service by discreetly notifying managers of concerns.
  • Uphold the company's Mission and Values: Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion.
  • Notify managers promptly of any illegal acts or ethical concerns.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
  • Create an environment that encourages guests to choose Hard Rock for gaming entertainment, actively build guest relations, and mentor team members to provide superior guest service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience, Certifications, Education:

  • A minimum of a post-secondary diploma in Law and Security is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification.
  • The ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of computer software packages.
  • Previous gaming experience or knowledge of the gaming industry is a plus.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to walk distances.
  • Must frequently lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

  • Duties are performed in a highly regulated environment, with some time spent on the Casino Floor, which may involve exposure to noise and other environmental factors.
