Job summary

Kahkewistahaw First Nation #72 is seeking an Office Manager for Chief Kahkewistahaw Community School to support the principal and oversee daily administrative operations. The role focuses on organizational efficiency, staff coordination, and effective communication across school services and programs.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Administration, Business Management, or related field preferred.
  • 35 years of experience in administration, office management, and staff supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of office procedures, data management, and administrative best practices.
  • Proficiency with MySchoolSask student database system.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of school operations and the ability to manage difficult situations involving staff, parents, and students with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to draft clear and professional documents independently.
  • Leadership ability, including conflict management and positive staff engagement.
  • High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude, courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and uphold a high level of professionalism.
