Reporting to the Director of Operations and Community Engagement, we are looking for a motivated Office Manager for the Child Safety program. This position requires managing the training and supervision of administrative support staff, directing and overseeing their work assignments in an urban child safety program, responding to incidents of crisis and supportive interventions. The incumbent is expected to have a working knowledge and understanding of the practices and procedures of the related programs. Also, demonstrates effective teamwork, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills to perform the job effectively.
The key duties and responsibilities of the Office Manager include: supervising the provision of administrative services, providing financial administrative functions for Child Safety, supervision of staff and performing other related duties and projects as required by the Director of Operations and Community Engagement that are consistent with the classification of the position.
This position involves Restorative Supervision, teamwork, team building and also involves participating in OSH meetings, completing OSH minutes, completing OSH 2020 Yukon Office tasks, and filing of OSH information. This position will ensure the safety of the building as well as follow-up regarding building maintenance, repairs, and coffee/water services, and ordering/monitoring personal protective equipment (PPE) for office staff. Provides cross coverage when the other Office Manager is on leave, including supervision of the administrative assistants.
