Packaging Compliance Labs, PCL, is a medical device packaging testing, engineering, and contract manufacturing firm headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI working with clients all around the country. We opened our doors in 2014 and since then, due to rapid growth, have had multiple facility expansions and have recently acquired another company on the East Coast! Additionally, we have been named one of West Michigan’s Best & Brightest Companies for 5 years in a row, and have been added to the INC 5000 list for fastest-growing private companies in the country! To support our team and growing business, we are looking to add an Office Manager to join our Administrative team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and support all administrative duties to ensure the office is operating smoothly
Support event planning activities as assigned, including assistance with the company newsletter
Daily interaction via phone and in person with prospective and existing clients, handling basic inquiries
Continuously improve the appearance, resources, and culture in the office
Manage conference room calendars and booking system for on-site guests
Maintain office supplies around the building and assist with the purchasing process
Serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day IT matters, coordinating communication with our 3rd party IT vendor
Perform light cleaning duties as needed for community office areas
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Up to 10% local travel may be required for various office-related errands
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL DEMONSTRATE
Exceptional customer service, and skills in performing basic research and problem solving
The ability to work independently and move from task to task seamlessly
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Enthusiasm to keep the team motivated and ensure goals are met
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an office setting or executive assistance
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
An associate or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, or related field (preferred)
Experience working with an ERP or CRM system (preferred)
Training will be provided
CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION
This position is full time (Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm), located on-site in Grand Rapids, MI
This position is paid salary, exempt. The pay range varies depending on skills, abilities, and length of service with the company
