Job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Office Manager to take the lead in ensuring the smooth, efficient operation of our busy Bedford, NS office. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and brings both a strategic mindset and hands-on approach to managing people, processes, and performance.

As part of a collaborative and high-performing team in the accounting sector, you’ll play a key role in supporting business operations, overseeing administrative functions, and contributing to ongoing improvements in how we work.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily office operations, ensuring seamless workflow and team coordination
  2. Lead and support a small administrative team, promoting accountability and collaboration
  3. Maintain and improve internal systems, processes, and documentation
  4. Facilitate effective internal communication and support high-quality client service
  5. Manage office logistics, vendor coordination, and resource planning
  6. Provide administrative support for finance-related activities such as billing and expense tracking
  7. Assist with onboarding, training, and other HR-related tasks
  8. Work closely with leadership to monitor compliance and support continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in office management or operations within a professional services environment
  2. Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  3. Tech-comfortable and experienced with data-driven environments and workflow systems
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  5. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing needs
  6. Background in regulated industries like legal, finance, or insurance is a strong asset
