We are seeking a part-time (up to 10 hours a week) highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. This role ensures the office runs smoothly, supports staff, and maintains a productive and positive work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and has excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Operations & Administration Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory, ensuring everything is well-stocked and operational. Oversee office maintenance, cleanliness, and vendor relationships (e.g., cleaning services, IT support, supplies). Update job posters when needed. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, email, and phone calls. Maintain and organize company records, files, and databases.
HR & Employee Support Serve as a point of contact for office-related inquiries and employee needs. Assist with onboarding new employees, including setting up workspaces, providing office tours, and ensuring smooth integration. Coordinate office events, order daily meals, and organize team-building activities and celebrations to foster a positive work culture. Order daily lunches.
Finance & Budget Management Track office expenses and assist with budgeting. Work with the finance department to ensure timely payments and expense reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Manager, or similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office management tools.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
