We are currently seeking an Office & Inventory Administrator to join our Accounting team at our Business Office located in downtown Halifax. The successful candidate will share and support our vision of providing superior quality customer service and an array of exciting products to our loyal customers. In this position, you will report to the Financial Controller, fulfilling administrative duties within the business office and ensuring the highest level of inventory integrity, providing support for our retail & wholesale locations.

Responsibilities
  • Sorting, posting, and distributing mail
  • Data entry and filing
  • General office organization and maintenance
  • Answering phones and processing requests
  • Generating daily reports
  • Maintaining inventory movement data and cost verification
  • Maintaining inventory count schedules
  • Providing backup support to File Maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned by the Controller
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of operational/administrative retail experience
  • Business Diploma is considered an asset
  • HDS or similar front-end system experience
  • Inventory management experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Understanding of product flow, retail best practices including ordering, receiving, costing, merchandising, and POS
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional accuracy in keying and calculations
