Job summary

Kent Building Supplies in Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking a retail associate to grow your career in a fast-paced, safety-oriented environment. You will support customers with solutions, process transactions, and help ensure accurate paperwork and store procedures are followed.

Responsibilities include training fellow cashiers and gatehouse staff, coordinating with vendors and head office, and taking on various duties as assigned to maintain smooth operations and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and urgency.
• Solid Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience in a similar role is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures and train others (cashiers, gatehouse associates, receivers).
• Communicate with customers, vendors and head office accounting to ensure paperwork is processed on time.
• Other duties as assigned.
