An established healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Office Assistant to join their team. This role is essential for maintaining efficient clerical support within a clinical environment, ensuring patient and staff safety. Reporting to the Coordinator, Administrative Services, Manager, or designate, the Office Assistant provides clerical support services to the clinical staff and service. This includes typing and formatting a variety of documents, maintaining client records related to admission, discharge, and transfers, and providing site-specific receptionist services such as answering general inquiries, greeting clients, and booking appointments.
Grade 12 graduation, plus additional courses in Microsoft Office, and at least one year of recent related clerical experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience working with adults and youth with mental health and substance use issues is preferred.
