We specialize in all things glass. Established in 1962 with one shop in Seattle, Wash., today Glass Doctor offers quick and affordable glass services in Canada with many locations. We are seeking a dedicated individual driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction, capable of effectively managing various situations daily. This is a full-time, permanent position, five days a week.

Requirements:

The candidate must work well under pressure, multitask efficiently, possess problem-solving skills, and have excellent customer service experience. Ability to learn quickly, strong organizational skills, patience, and personal suitability are essential. Some weekend work may be required.

Job Description:
  • Lead a team of administrative staff and technicians
  • Organize and plan daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and schedules
  • Manage vendors, marketing, budgeting, and legal concerns
  • Hire and train new staff
  • Answer incoming calls and return missed calls promptly
  • Schedule quotes and installations
  • Provide quotes, process orders, follow up, and manage supplies and glass products
  • Quote basic and automotive glass services
  • Respond to emails timely and appropriately
  • Sell flat glass services as needed
  • Order custom glass units, process payments, and generate invoices
  • Perform additional duties, including cross-training, filing, and general cleaning
  • Ensure accurate entry of invoices, orders, and quotes in scheduling software
  • Handle customer complaints and requests
  • Attend to walk-in clients and provide quotes and services
  • Perform other related tasks for company operations
  • Data entry and bookkeeping skills are assets
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an Office Administrator
  • Strong sales, customer service, and phone skills
  • Self-reliant with strong leadership abilities
  • Ability to lead a team and manage priorities
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills for daily and large projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

  • Experience in auto or flat glass industry is an asset
  • Proficient in computer skills, including word processing, business software, and spreadsheets

  • High school diploma or higher with 7 years' administrative work experience
  • Fluent in English and Canadian work experience required
