We specialize in all things glass. Established in 1962 with one shop in Seattle, Wash., today Glass Doctor offers quick and affordable glass services across Canada with many locations. We are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and satisfaction, effectively managing a variety of situations daily. This is a full-time, permanent employment position, five days a week.

Requirements:

The candidate must work well under pressure, be capable of multitasking, possess problem-solving skills, and have excellent customer service experience. The ability to learn quickly, strong organizational skills, patience, and personal suitability are essential for the hiring process. Some weekend work may be required.

Job Description:

  1. Leading a team of administrative staff and technicians
  2. Organizing and planning daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and schedules
  3. Managing vendors, marketing, budgeting, and legal concerns
  4. Hiring and training new staff
  5. Answering incoming calls and returning missed calls promptly
  6. Scheduling quotes and installations for technicians
  7. Providing quotes, processing orders, follow-up calls, and ordering supplies and glass products
  8. Quoting basic glass and automotive glass services
  9. Responding to emails promptly and appropriately
  10. Selling flat glass and automotive glass services as needed
  11. Processing orders, taking payments, and invoicing
  12. Performing additional duties, including cross-training, filing, and general cleaning
  13. Ensuring accurate entry of invoices, orders, and quotes in scheduling software
  14. Responding to customer complaints and requests
  15. Attending to walk-in clients and providing quotes and related services
  16. Handling other tasks related to the operation of the company
  17. Data entry and bookkeeping skills are assets

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Office Administrator
  • Strong sales, customer service, and phone skills
  • Self-reliant with strong leadership abilities
  • Ability to lead a team of technicians and administrative staff

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills for daily and large projects
