Location: 3835 Redford Street, Port Alberni, BC V9Y 3S2

  • Workplace: On site
  • Salary: $28.85 per hour, 35 to 40 hours per week
  • Terms: Permanent, full-time
  • Schedule: Day, Evening, Morning shifts
  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Vacancies: 1
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures
