As we continue to grow, Libro is on a mission to find a passionately accountable full-time Offensive Data and Research Analyst supporting our London Administration.
The Offensive Data & Research Analyst leads the development of actionable insights through advanced analytics and evidence-based research. This role drives research and survey initiatives, championing the voice of the customer and translating findings into strategic opportunities. Collaborating across functions, the Analyst studies Owner behavior, segment profiles, analyzes market potential, and informs data-driven decisions to support Libro’s strategic goals.
We are currently hiring for two positions under this posting: an Offensive Data and Research Analyst Level 1 and an Offensive Data and Research Analyst Level 2. The hiring managers will assess each candidate’s experience and skills to determine the best fit for either level.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Collaborate with the Offensive Data & Research team and key functional areas across the company to plan, develop and execute research and analysis for strategic projects.
- Lead initiatives to design measurement frameworks and develop scheduled reports for Libro projects and initiatives.
- Lead initiatives with strategic, third-party partners and vendors on projects with analytical requirements.
- Educate internal stakeholders and customers to inform and champion the relevance and importance of embedding data and insights into business processes across Libro.
- Support Libro business planning with market and Owner segment insights and growth target setting.
- Develop reports, analyses and presentations to convey insights and recommendations to various internal stakeholders, using tools such as PowerPoint, Power BI etc.
- Lead and demonstrate an analytical discipline of testing and measuring the results and effectiveness of strategies, campaigns, marketing automation, Owner outreach, and other programs at Libro.
- Analyze and anticipate market gaps, opportunities and threats by reviewing market data, sales trends, and competitive marketing activities.
- Identify and monitor economic indicators such as local employment, housing, construction, agriculture and other areas for ongoing use and reporting.
- Lead development of predictive models and other analytical or profiling techniques, to identify forward-looking (Offensive) recommendations on Libro initiatives (e.g. identify prospects for Owner outreach both direct to Owner or through coach to Owner).
- Data mine and analyze Libro’s segments and Owner data to ensure effective marketing programs including product development, campaign, and promotions.
- Collaborate with product teams to develop new financial products and services informed by research and data insights.
- Lead cross-functional teams to manage end-to-end research. Engage project sponsors, key stakeholders, third party vendors, and end users throughout a project to ensure alignment of the research to the business requirements and expectations.

- Do you have a post-secondary degree with concentration in business, marketing, statistics, math or computer science?
- Do you have 5-8 years’ experience preferably with experience in an analytical or research environment?
- Do you have prior work in a financial institution and knowledge of financial metrics, segmentation and industry drivers?
- Do you have prior experience working with the Environics Analytics Envision platform, Equifax and other third-party data?
- Do you have experience in analysis and some fluency with various analytical software (ex. Power BI), analysis techniques and coding (SQL, R, Python)?
- Do you have an understanding of data ethics with a commitment to uphold them to the highest standard?
- Are you proficient in organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide insights into business issues through data analysis?
