Job summary

Sureway Construction Group is seeking a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (Heavy Duty Mechanic) for our Edmonton shop. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs and overhauls on off road equipment, with a focus on CAT/SIS and Komatsu systems.

The role requires 5–10 years of Journeyperson experience, off road expertise, and strong diagnostic skills in hydraulic and electronic schematics. Join a full-time team at a modern, 38-bay shop with state-of-the-art tooling and certification

Qualifications

Must be a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician with Red Seal - Off Road or equivalent.
5–10 years’ Journeyperson experience preferred.
Off Road experience is REQUIRED.
Experience with CAT E.T. and S.I.S. and/or Komatsu is REQUIRED.
Ability to read/troubleshoot and diagnose using hydraulic and electronic schematics.
Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

Maintain equipment to high standards and perform preventative maintenance, repairs and overhauls.
Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure.
Promote and adhere to the company’s safety program.
Perform general duties as part of a repair facility team.
