Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Route Driver to maintain inventory, load and deliver products to micro markets, vending machines and OCS accounts across the Vancouver area. You will follow safety procedures, perform pre/post trip checks, and ensure timely service.

The role requires a valid Class 5 license, a clean driving record, ability to lift 50 lbs, and independent work ethic. Prior customer service experience is preferred, with 3 years driving experience ideal.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a good driving record.
• 3 years driving experience required.
• Preferred 1–2 years in a customer service role or 1 year related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts).
• Able to work independently, manage route and workload with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Comply with company policies and administer as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of machines and equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on machines and report defects.
• Ensure daily route loading for scheduled micro markets and machines.
• Inform clients of new products or services and resolve complaints.
• Report client or customer complaints to supervisor promptly.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays as needed.
• Manage receipts, invoices, delivery tickets, cash and product.
• Rotate products to ensure freshness and perform inventory checks.
• Keep the company vehicle clean and perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Perform all duties safely and professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
