We are seeking an Occupational / Physiotherapy Therapy Assistant to join our Moody Hall Enhanced Care Team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

About The Opportunity

• Prepare and administer individual and group physical therapy sessions
• Assist residents with therapeutic interventions such as range of motion, resistive and stretching exercises, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist residents with ambulation, with or without aids, under the guidance of a Physiotherapist
• Document treatments according to policies and procedures
• Monitor residents’ responses during treatment and report to PT/OT
• Maintain equipment inventory and assist with audits, cleaning, and inspections
