Position : Occupational Therapist - Mental Health.

Location : Halifax HX2 / Seacroft LS14

Role : Permanent

Salary : £35,000 - £44,000 (depending on experience)

Start : ASAP

Our client is focused on mental health rehabilitation and learning disability services, based in Lancashire and Yorkshire.

The Role :

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for mental health recovery? We're seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist within a leading rehabilitation service focused on supporting individuals with complex mental health needs across two rehabilitation residential houses in Halifax and Seacroft.

  • Provide high-quality OT interventions to promote recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualised care plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths and challenges in self-care, productivity, and leisure.
  • Deliver group and one-to-one interventions that enhance daily living skills and social inclusion.
  • Lead on the development of OT pathways and contribute to service-wide improvements.
  • Occasional travel to support our multisite services in Halifax and Seacroft.

Qualifications :

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • At least 3 years of post-graduate experience, with a minimum of 2 years in mental health.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
