Interior Health is seeking a Casual Occupational Therapist for Ridgewood Lodge in Princeton. The role supports inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community settings within a collaborative rehabilitation team.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide equipment recommendations. This position emphasizes flexible scheduling and diverse settings, with a focus on client-centered care and community wellbeing.

Formación

• Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
• Full practicing licensee as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
• Valid BC Driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy programs to promote functional independence and optimal health outcomes.
• Provide consultation, education, and support to clients and their caregivers.
• Prescribe and recommend appropriate equipment to enhance daily living.
• Participate in program planning, quality assurance initiatives, research, and departmental meetings.
• Offer guidance and work direction to rehabilitation assistants regarding transfer of function.

About the role

The Occupational Therapist works independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, and may be providing a full range of occupational therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community settings.
