A leading healthcare provider in Canada is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team at Ponderosa Lodge in Kamloops. In this role, you will provide assessment and treatment planning, collaborate with other professionals, and guide Rehabilitation Assistants. Joining us at Ponderosa Lodge, you’ll play a crucial role in providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription, and education to residents/short-stay clients and their caregivers. Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, you will make a substantial contribution to promoting functional independence and enabling residents/clients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. You will also provide work direction to the Rehabilitation Assistants working with the rehabilitation team regarding transfer of function.
Days of work: Monday to Friday; 08:00 to 16:00.
