WCB Alberta's Millard Health in Edmonton, AB, seeks an Occupational Therapist I to join a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based rehabilitation across brain injury, pain management and musculoskeletal programs.

You will assess, design and deliver tailored treatment plans, participate in functional capacity evaluations, and collaborate with employers and community providers to support safe return to work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and be eligible for registration.
  • Computer experience and strong interpersonal skills with written and verbal abilities.
  • Reliability and time management are integral to your success.
  • A valid Alberta Driver’s license and ability to travel off-site for services.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with service partners, including community providers, specialists, claim owners and employers.
  • Developing and delivering tailored treatment programs.
  • Provide frontline assessment, interventions, and education to clients in one-on-one or group settings.
  • Completing functional capacity evaluations (FCEs) and services at employer worksites.
  • Willingness to move between program areas such as brain injury, psychological injury or pain management.

Occupational Therapy services are delivered across a variety of rehabilitation programs including brain injury, psychological injury, pain management, and musculoskeletal injury. We are seeking individuals who are interested in delivering leading edge clinical services, consistently focus on innovation and creativity in customer service and always treat clients with fairness and respect.Your responsibilities:Collaborating with service partners, including community providers, specialists, claim owners and employers.Developing and delivering tailored treatment programs.Provide frontline assessment, interventions, and education to our clients in one on one or group settings.Completing functional capacity evaluations (FCEs), and services at employer worksites.Must be willing to learn new skills and move between different business areas including working on specialized. program teams such as brain injury, psychological injury or pain management.Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary setting is essential.Duties may vary according to the program area.The ability to work 7.25 hour shifts between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, is required.Your experience and skills:A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and be eligible for registration, in good standing, with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists. Temporary positions are for a period of up to one year with the possibility of extension or permanency.
