As part of the CBI Home Health Services Hamilton team, the Occupational Therapist (OT) works in the home care setting servicing Hamilton and surrounding communities (Burlington, Mississauga and/or Halton, Oakville, Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk). Provisional supervision is available for new graduates. This role has pediatric potential if interested, and includes a Sign On Bonus.

What you need to be successful

  • You are registered as a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Your focus is to embrace person and family-centered care
  • You are passionate, empathetic, use good judgement and apply critical thinking when making client decisions
  • You are known for your excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaboration within an interdisciplinary team as well as work independently
  • You value the role a therapist plays in keeping clients at home when that is of personal importance
  • You have the ability to travel within community as part of the CBI Health Home Health Services team
  • Your bilingual language skills in English and French are an asset and comfortable working with new software and systems
