Island Health seeks an Occupational Therapist Coordinator to lead the Occupational Therapy department, ensuring high-quality care and effective supervision of staff. The role involves strategic planning, collaboration with team leaders, and direct oversight of program delivery. Candidates should possess extensive experience in Occupational Therapy and effective leadership skills.

Reporting to the Manager, the Occupational Therapist Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation, supervision, and direction of designated staff in the Occupational Therapy department. This includes participating in establishing and meeting annual objectives, providing clinical leadership for Occupational Therapy, participating in program and service delivery planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned areas, and budgetary input and management. The position collaborates with the Manager, the Physiotherapist Coordinator, and leaders in Speech Language Pathology.
Travel may be required for this position. Transportation arrangements must meet Island Health's operational requirements and may involve the use of a personal vehicle.
