Job summary

Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority seeks an Occupational Therapist to coordinate and provide OT services for clients in facilities and communities within the IERHA. Working with a multidisciplinary team and external agencies, you will promote health and independence through client-centered care and evidence-informed practice.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba in good standing.
• Eligible to practice and maintain licensure in Manitoba.
• Membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide OT services to clients in facilities and communities within the IERHA.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and external agencies/services.
• Promote health and restoration or preservation of function to maintain independence.
• Use client-centered approach to define optimal health and functioning with clients.
• Contribute to research and uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of IERHA.
