37.5 hours per week

£40,000 dependent on qualifications and experience

About the role

As the Occupational Therapist / Clinical Advisor, you will be part of our new Community Equipment Services (CES). We seek an enthusiastic, experienced Occupational Therapist to provide expert advice and support to prescribers, commissioners, operational staff, and the community.

You will use your expertise to ensure best practice, develop innovative solutions, and deliver a high-quality, cost-effective equipment loan service.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with management, referrers, commissioners, suppliers, and operational teams to deliver a person-centred Community Equipment Service.
  2. Providing specialist support and advice to maximize equipment recycling and oversee special orders.
  3. Offering clinical advice on equipment supply, suitability, and procurement.
  4. Working with health and social care professionals to develop best practices and ensure clinical governance.
  5. Supporting and delivering training sessions as needed.
  6. Working with CES managers to optimize catalogue systems and ensure value for money.

Qualifications and experience required

  • Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with the HCPC
