Job summary

Brain Care Centre invites an Occupational Therapist to join a hybrid team delivering in-office, community, and virtual services at our Edmonton location (11209 86 St NW). You will assess adults with acquired brain injury, set goals, and deliver individualized treatment while contributing to groups and education programs.

Applicants should hold ACOT standing, have brain-injury experience (preferred), CPR/BLS certification, a valid driver’s license, and a clear criminal record check.

Qualifications

• Experience with acquired brain injury populations is preferred.
• Criminal record check (clear).
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Driver's license and vehicle with 2 million liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Administer standardized and non-standardized assessments of occupational performance.
• Develop and implement client-centered goals and treatment plans.
• Deliver life-skills and group interventions and education.
• Collaborate with community agencies and service providers.
• Maintain accurate client records and reports in the database.
• Participate in weekly rounds and interdisciplinary meetings.
