A caring healthcare services company is seeking an Occupational Therapist to relocate from Vancouver to Salmon Arm, BC. This position offers consistent weekday shifts and meaningful work in long-term care. Qualifications

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
  • Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or community health is an asset.
  • Full immunization records (DTaP, HepB, MMR).
  • Two-step negative TB test and/or chest X-ray (within 6 months).
  • Current CPR certification and valid driver’s license (if applicable).

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Recommend and train clients in the use of assistive devices and adaptive strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, making modifications as necessary.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care planning.
  • Educate clients, families, and staff on techniques to support client goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
