Job summary

Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital, part of Sinai Health, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and treat patients in a rehabilitative, complex care setting. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement tailored interventions that promote independence and functional recovery.

Qualifications

• University degree from a recognized Occupational Therapy Program.
• Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
• Current Assistive Devices Program (ADP) Authorizer for Mobility Aids or apply within 3 months of start date/eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment interventions using clinical reasoning and evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to develop care plans and patient education.
• Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) in delivering the care plan.
• Participate in team meetings to support patient care activities (huddles, rounds, family meetings).
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per college and hospital standards.
• Perform other duties consistent with the job classification.

Job Type: Temporary Full Time (up to 12 months)

In this role you will:

• Assess, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment interventions utilizing sound clinical reasoning and evidence‑based practices
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to develop comprehensive care plans, transition planning and engage in patient education as required
• Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) in the delivery of Occupational therapy care plan
• Actively participate in team meetings to support patient care activities such as daily huddles, team rounds and family meetings.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in alignment with college and hospital standards
• Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required

Job Requirements:

Mandatory

• University degree from a recognized Occupational Therapy Program
• Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
• Current Assistive Devices Program (ADP) Authorizer for Mobility Aids

Salary:

Minimum - $48.843/hour; Maximum - $61.539/hour
