Job summary

Lifemark Physiotherapy Parkdale in Ottawa, ON is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Parkdale clinic. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and mentoring opportunities in a supportive environment.

The role offers a permanent full-time position with opportunities for professional growth, flexible scheduling, and a strong emphasis on patient-centered outcomes in a well-established private practice.

Qualifications

• Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
• New graduates licensed welcome.
• 1-5 years of experience required.
• Autonomy; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with occupational rehabilitation and auto insurance/WSIB referrals is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning.
• Educating clients on pacing, pain, CBT strategies, and task modification to improve function.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians including PTs, Kinesiologists, psychotherapists, physicians and psychologists.
• Participating in case conferences and case management.
• Supporting return-to-work programs.
• Using e-charting software to document sessions and submit timely reports.

Qualifications:

• Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
• Accepting New Graduates Licensed
• 1-5 years of experience required
• Previous experience treating clients with physical, mental health and/or neurological conditionsAbility to be autonomous; working both independently and as part of the team
• Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset
• Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long terms disability and WSIB referrals a strong asset
• A valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle

• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of professionals including physiotherapists,kinesiologists, psychotherapists, physicians and psychologists

• Supporting return to work programs
• Utilizing e-charting software to document treatment sessions; submitting reports to stakeholders in a timely manner
• Managing caseload in a fast paced environment
