Job summary

Vancouver Island Health Authority in Canada is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary health care team. Under supervision, you will assess, treat, educate and manage patients receiving occupational therapy services across multiple sites.

Job Description

Under general supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary health care team, the Occupational Therapist assesses treats, educates and manages patients/clients receiving occupational therapy services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training And Experience

Graduation from a recognized university program in Occupational Therapy. Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as an Occupational Therapist. Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT). Knowledge of current Occupational Therapy standards, modalities and scope of practice; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid BC Driver's License.
