Occupational Therapist – Cornwall Physiotherapy

Permanent Full-Time

Location : 17373 South Branch Rd., Cornwall, ON

Signing Bonus available: up to $5000

Qualifications :

  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists (member in good standing)
  • Accepting New Graduates with Licensure
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred
  • Experience treating clients with physical, mental health, or neurological conditions
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset
  • Experience with auto insurance, long-term disability, and WSIB referrals is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical reasoning
  • Skills in educating clients on pacing, pain management, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and task modification
  • Ability to collaborate with physiotherapists, kinesiologists, psychotherapists, physicians, and psychologists
  • Participation in case conferences and case management
  • Experience supporting return-to-work programs
  • Proficiency with e-charting software and timely report submission
  • Ability to manage caseload in a fast-paced environment
