Qualifications:

• Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
• Accepting new graduates; licensed to practice
• 1-5 years of experience preferred
• Experience treating clients with physical, mental health, and neurological conditions
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset
• Experience supporting auto insurance, long-term disability, and WSIB referrals is a strong asset
• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning
• Experience educating clients on pacing, pain management, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and task modification
• Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physiotherapists, kinesiologists, psychotherapists, physicians, and psychologists
• Participation in case conferences and case management
• Supporting return-to-work programs
• Experience utilizing e-charting software and submitting reports in a timely manner
• Ability to manage caseload in a fast-paced environment
