Job summary

SE Health in Brampton, Ontario is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and plan client-centered, goal-directed rehabilitation across home and community settings. Join a collaborative team delivering care with compassion, and progress clients toward meaningful outcomes in their daily lives.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Member in good standing of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Experience in managing patients in acute/rehab or community rehabilitation programs preferred.
  • Able to work effectively with rehab assistants and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

Requirements

  • A graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy and are a member in good standing of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Recent experience in managing patients inacute/rehab or community-based rehabilitation programs is preferred
  • Reliable, flexible, creative, self-directed professional, able to work effectively and collaboratively with rehab assistants as well as with a high-performance interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
  • Sound knowledge of community resources is an asset
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • A positive work and attendance record is essential
  • Ability to adapt to new computer applications
  • This role follows a hybrid work approach where you are able to work remotely and with the clients in their acute/rehab or community-based rehabilitation setting
