Job description

We're looking for a great new team member! Occu-Med Health Services has an immediate opening for a Nurse (RN or RPN) to join our Service Delivery team, conducting health assessments for employers in Southwestern Ontario. The position involves travel, with some overnights.

The Nurse will be responsible for:

  1. Conducting employee health tests, including physical exams, vision screening, hearing tests, PFTs, and other tests. Training will be provided as needed.
  2. Providing occasional support at fixed client sites (typically in London). Prior occupational health experience is preferred for this function.

This is a permanent, part-time or casual position with room for growth. Compensation ranges from $24 to $40 per hour, depending on experience and services provided. Travel expenses are paid, along with a shift premium for onsite/mobile work.

About us: Occu-Med, based in London, has been providing occupational health services for 42 years. Our nurses and health professionals:

  • Travel to client sites for onsite employee health testing.
  • Conduct tests at our London clinic.
  • Are placed at client locations on a contract basis.

We operate a mobile health testing unit and use company vehicles for travel.

What we are looking for:

  • Ability and willingness to travel in Southwestern Ontario (a valid driver’s license is required).
  • Willingness to learn new skills; cross-training is common.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Outstanding willingness to serve others.
  • Valid Nursing license in Ontario.

What we offer:

  • Flexibility in scheduling, to some extent.
  • A different environment focused on preventative testing, with minimal patient conflict.
  • Supportive team environment where collaboration and professionalism are valued.
