Position: Occupational Health and Safety Representative

Location: Port Coquitlam, BC

Compensation: $60k-$70k/annually, based on experience

What You’ll Do:
  • Support our retail locations and operational divisions by maintaining and enhancing the Lordco OHS program
  • Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and other regulatory agencies and regulations
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions and safety improvements
  • Communicate effectively with staff and management to promote a positive safety culture
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment
  • Participate in site inspections, recommend actions, and implement safety measures
  • Maintain records of safety meetings, inspections, and training
  • Develop and deliver training materials and programs on health and safety
  • Assist in incident investigations and develop corrective actions
  • Lead by example
  • Perform other tasks as required
Do you fit the part?
  • You are a motivated individual passionate about safety excellence
  • You have post-secondary education related to Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent experience
  • Willing to travel with overnight stays
  • You have a positive attitude and leadership qualities
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • You exercise sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Adaptable to changing demands
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • TDG training and certification are assets
  • You possess a BC Class 7 or 5 driver’s license
