The Practice

As an OBGYN joining our cohesive team in beautiful Vernon, you'll quickly appreciate the professional camaraderie and the quality of life this location offers. Here, your work extends beyond a job—it becomes a passion.

You'll have the opportunity to support the community with on-call consultative Obstetrics, taking on unique cases like twin pregnancies or complex obstetrics. In addition, you'll provide on-call Gynecology services. Your schedule may include home call, offering the chance for late-night work or the possibility of spending most of the night snug in your bed. With our hospital averaging 800 to 900 deliveries each year, you'll work closely with our trusted GP and midwifery partners, fostering excellent professional relationships.

You can look forward to generous OR time, with frequent opportunities to collaborate on challenging cases. Your clinic commitment typically varies from 1 to 4 days a week, and 2-3 OR days each month. You'll be covering a broad spectrum of Gynecology, from infertility care and urogynecology to vaginal surgery and complex laparoscopic cases.

Estimated Remuneration

Anticipate an estimated gross annual of $400,000, determined by a fee-for-service payment structure and MOCAP level 1.

Physician Overhead

Your monthly overhead could range from $4000 to $7000, depending on your office selection and setup requirements.

Benefits and Incentives

Relocation Funding Available

$9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 for moves within Canada, and $15,000 for those relocating from outside Canada. Please note incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at the time of offer.
