Estimated Yearly Remuneration: $500,000 (after overhead).
MOCAP Level 1 for On-Call.
MSP Premium 21.70% + $33,628.80 Annual Bonus (Flat Fee).
$20,000 Signing Bonus + Moving Allowance $9,000 - $15,000 (TBD).
REAP and RCME funding available.
An exciting opportunity to establish your OB/GYN practice in Fort St John, British Columbia, a young and growing community of 23,000 with approximately 600 deliveries per year! Currently there is one OB/Gyn in Fort St John and one OB/Gyn 75km away in Dawson Creek. Both communities serve a catchment area of approximately 70,000.

Fort St. John Hospital is a new state-of-the-art 55 bed hospital and 123 bed residential care facility serving a population of approximately 23,000 and a catchment area of approximately 70,000. The Emergency Room sees 25,000+ visits per year.
Compensation Type: Fee-for-Service
Estimated Remuneration: $500,000 (after overhead)
Physician Overhead: TBD as practice established
Vacation Leave: Maximum 12 weeks per year
May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:
Retention Premium 21.70%
Retention Flat Fee $33,629
Relocation Funding Available $9,000 to 15,000 (TBD)
Recruitment Incentive $20,000
Other Benefits/Incentives: MOCAP (Medical On Call Availability Program) available on top of MSP billings.
Rural Education Action Plan (REAP) funding available.
Rural Continuing Medical Education (RCME) funding available.
Moving allowance available: $15,000 if moving from outside of Canada; $12,000 if moving within Canada but outside of BC; $9,000 if moving within BC. (lump sum payment, no receipts required)
Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) funding is subject to change without notice.
