Fraser Health seeks a permanent full-time OBGYN for Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock. The role involves a general OBGYN practice focusing on surgical and office gynecology, with a supportive environment and a commitment to personalized patient care. Ideal candidates will engage in consultative obstetrical practices and embrace community involvement.
Our group is looking for an OBGYN on a permanent full-time basis. A FTE at our site would include 6-7 calls (from home) and 3 - 4 OR days per month.
The ideal candidate will be interested in a general OBGYN practice in a community hospital with a strong focus on surgical and office gynecology. We have a brand new OR complex including a dedicated state-of-the-art gynecologic laparoscopy suite where we do a full spectrum of gynecologic surgery.
Peace Arch Hospital delivers 1,000 babies per year. Our obstetric practice is mainly consultative and the majority of our low-risk deliveries are done by the family practice maternity clinic and midwives. We are proud of our reputation of being a boutique hospital, delivering excellent personalized and compassionate maternity care.
White Rock/South Surrey is a sunny, beach community about a 30-minute drive from Vancouver. We have great schools, outdoor activities and many different restaurants. We are a burgeoning community with young families. We are also located on the US border. We welcome site visits to our community and hospital and will be happy to organise this. Locum time is also available to develop a feel of our wonderful hospital and community.
