Alberta Health Services is seeking an Obstetrician & Gynecologist for a full-time position at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. The role involves establishing a community practice, academic teaching, and contributing to administrative and research activities. Red Deer offers a vibrant community with access to outdoor attractions and essential amenities.
Alberta Health Services, Central Zone, and the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, invites applications for an Obstetrician & Gynecologist to establish a full-time practice in the community of Red Deer. This position is generally 100% clinical to start, with academic teaching. The expectation is to expand practice to include administration and/or research as practice grows.

Once chosen, the successful candidate may choose to operate their business by joining an existing independent outpatient practice or form an independent outpatient office of their own. This is the candidate's independent business decision and will not be managed through the recruitment process.

Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre (RDRHC) provides a comprehensive gamut of services including general, orthopedics, plastics, ENT, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology and obstetric surgeries. Cardiac, thoracic, and neurosurgery surgeries are not performed at RDRHC. They provide care for both adult and pediatric (minimum age of 1) patient populations with 12,500-12,750 surgical cases performed annually.
