Overview

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

As an Observability/ Monitoring Specialist within Global Functions Technology-Intelligent Operations, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the digital transformation of the devops, SRE, and prod support function by supporting data and AI initiatives that enhance development and support execution, generating strategic insights for the entire line of business. You\u2019ll help design and execute monitoring analytics backing the enablement of effective utilization of advanced technologies (AI, ML), process automation, and data analytics to manage and optimize GFT IT operations. The role will strategically plan, coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished on time.

What will you do?
  • Support the development, alignment, and communication of the Intelligent Operations strategy in collaboration with our senior management team and teams across GFT.

  • Build executive-ready presentations, monthly business review materials (eg. QBR, BRD), and communication briefs that clearly articulate strategy, progress, and business impact.

  • Manage and support the success of operational deliverables including monthly control book, tracking OKRs/KPIs, success stories, and dashboards.

  • Manage timelines, dependencies, delivery milestones, and progress for key initiatives.

  • Translate program data into actionable insights, managing productivity and performance dashboards to ensure accurate, timely, and impactful reporting.

  • Partner with leaders across GFT, DevOps, Enterprise Architecture, and delivery teams to drive alignment and ensure successful outcomes.

  • Support the delivery of cross-functional projects that advance developer and production support productivity, engineering practices, and technology modernization.

  • Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent initiatives of varying complexity in a time efficient manner. Monitor and control activities according to plan.

  • Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks. Analyze, mitigate and escalate where appropriate.

  • Develop and execute end-to-end change management plans and plan and execute all communications related to these.

  • Collaborate and contribute on cross-functional enterprise initiatives and manage the effective implementation of assigned deliverables.

  • Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes.

  • Contribute to ongoing administrative program activities as required.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, IT, or related field.

  • 3+ years’ experience in Observability Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Production Support,

  • 2+ years’ experience with monitoring & observability tools like Dynatrace, PagerDuty, MoogsoftAI.

  • Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills, with advanced PowerPoint skills and strong written communication.

  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to move between high-level strategy and detailed execution.

  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, priority-shifting environment.

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly messaging.

Nice-to-have:

  • MBA or equivalent degree.

  • Knowledge of SRE practices, platform engineering, or development productivity tools.

  • Exposure to GenAI tools and capabilities, digital transformation programs, or data enablement initiatives.
