Job description

Our client, a large multi-disciplinary practice located in Toronto's West End at Bloor / Dundas St. West, is looking for an experienced Treatment Coordinator to join their team.

Position / Job Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Senior Dental Administrator or Treatment Coordinator
  • Minimum College Diploma
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and work well under pressure
  • Proficiency in Dentrix, Excel, Word; experience an asset
  • Assist the Manager and admin team when needed
  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
  • Multiple languages an asset
  • Familiarity with Orthodontics and Periodontics an asset
  • Keep up to date with CPR certification — office provides training

Job Overview :

  • Educate and thoroughly discuss treatments after diagnosis and review by the dentist
  • Prepare detailed written treatment plans as per doctor’s instructions
  • Explain benefits, recommendations, and post-operative care
  • Present fees, give estimates for treatment, and make financial arrangements with patients
  • Prepare and submit all pre-determinations from treatment plans
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, procedures, and consultations using MacPractice software (training provided)
  • Prepare instructions regarding treatments and follow-ups
  • Coordinate with specialists’ offices: send x-rays, explanatory letters, etc.
  • Maintain charts and patient records accurately
  • Handle calls from patients or specialists regarding treatment questions

Hours : Start Immediately

  • Mon to Fri: 8:30 am - 5:00/5:30 pm
  • Some evenings and weekends may be required

Location :

  • Bloor / Dundas St. West (Roncesvalles / between Bloor & Queen St. West)
  • Accessible by transit
  • Free residential street parking (e.g., High Park Blvd)

Compensation

  • TBD depending on experience and performance
  • Basic dental coverage for employee, spouse, and children after three months and signed contract
