Job summary

The New Frontiers School Board is seeking a Daycare Educator to organize, prepare and conduct activities aligned with the educational project, fostering overall development and ensuring health and safety for preschool and elementary students under their care.

The role involves supervising indoor and outdoor activities, assisting with meals, recording attendance, and supporting students with their homework while communicating with parents as needed.

Qualifications

• Hold a Secondary School Diploma and an Attestation of Vocational Studies in Day Care Services or equivalent, with one year of experience.
• Written and oral proficiency in the two official languages.
• Experience dealing with elementary students.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prepare and conduct activities for preschool and elementary students.
• Supervise health, safety and wellbeing of students in accordance with rules and policies.
• Record student attendance and assist with meals and snacks.
• Assist students with schoolwork and support learning in a suitable environment.
• Communicate with parents and participate in meetings as required.
