Job summary

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a Baccalaureate- or Master-prepared nurse to join the WRHA Community Health Services team at Seven Oaks Health & Social Services in Winnipeg. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of nursing experience, supervisory experience, and strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

This in-person role includes 7.75 daily hours and a pensionable salary enhancement program.

Pensionable Salary Enhancement - Nurses in eligible classifications may be eligible to earn an additional $5.95/hour when working full-time hours within a prescribed six-month reporting period. (Effective April 1, 2025 - March 31st 2027.)

Experience
  • Minimum of four years recent related nursing experience.
  • Experience supervising staff required, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Community experience an asset.
  • Case Management experience an asset.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required.
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Responsible for maintaining and providing proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with Employer policy.
  • Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License and use of a vehicle.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
