Job summary

Assisted Living Alberta invites applications for an Instructor to lead CC orientation, compulsory and continuing education, and clinical development for nursing staff within Edmonton Zone. You will collaborate with management and partners to promote evidence-based practice and standards.

You will provide education that supports frontline CC clinicians and aligns with policy, procedure, protocol and technology changes, while upholding professional ethics and AHS values.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited nursing education required.
• Active or eligible for CRNA registration with Alberta College of Registered Nurses.
• Current BCLS-HCP certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, deliver, maintain and evaluate education for nursing staff including orientation, compulsory and continuing education, and clinical development.
• Collaborate with management and internal partners to promote standards of clinical, educational and evidence-informed practice.
• Provide safe, high-quality patient and family-centred care while aligning with the shared vision and values of AHS.
