Reporting directly to the Client Service Manager, the Health Care Aide (HCA) is an unregulated member of the interprofessional health care team who provides ongoing client care. The HCA observes, monitors, and reports on client status/condition, including changes in physical and emotional status. The HCA ensures that changes are reported to the RN and/or LPN.
This position delivers prescribed medications accurately as per policy and procedure, maintaining professional and ethical standards at all times. Responsible for other related duties as required.
Complex Care – for frail seniors requiring interdisciplinary team care to maintain and improve quality of life in safe, comfortable, and supportive environments. Carewest offers a mix of secured and unsecured units.
